In the Jhol ritual, curd is carefully poured onto the head of the bride or groom, symbolizing purity, cooling, and blessings from the elders.
Things to Buy / Requirements
- Freshly set curd (specifically made for the Jhol, ideally in a bronze pot)
- A rolling pin (Belan)
- 10-20 Rupees for the servant/helper

An elder male (like grandfather or father) holds a rolling pin.
