The Sava Pata ritual is performed just before the wedding. It signifies the formal readiness of both families and invokes blessings for a smooth wedding process.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Sava Pata and serve the Aarti thali at the girl's house.

Wrap a Moli around a betel nut to symbolically seat Binayakji, wishing for a smooth wedding.

Give an iron or silver Chitiya to the bride and groom's hands.

The girl's family visits the boy's family along with Panditji, carrying the Aarti thali, coconut, and Kumkum Patrika.

The boy's brother-in-law fills the hole in the pot with henna leaves, Batia, and 500 Rupees.
